DuBuy.com needed a TVC that could introduce its trading platform to a wider African audience — one that felt global in scale but grounded in real, local stories of people building something for themselves.
As creative director, I took the production across two countries — South Africa and Rwanda — moving between locations to keep the story, the look, and the performances consistent. Different cities, different light, different rhythms of life, all woven into one cohesive film.
Pulling together footage from two countries into one seamless story is always a logistical challenge, but it's also what makes the final film feel bigger than any single location could on its own — which was exactly the point for a platform built to help people trade beyond borders.
