Redefining what beauty looks like, one story at a time.

For decades, beauty advertising has sold the same narrow image back to women — and Dove has spent years trying to change that conversation. #LetsChangeBeauty was our contribution to that mission: a content series built to challenge harmful beauty standards by putting real people, with real stories, at the centre.
As creative director, I built the series around a simple conviction: the most powerful thing Dove could do wasn't make another beautiful ad — it was get out of the way and let real people tell real stories. Each short-form piece was a small, honest moment that pushed back against a different beauty stereotype, directed to feel personal and unpolished rather than like a typical campaign.
What made this project worthwhile was the conversations it sparked — seeing people respond to stories that actually reflected them, instead of an unattainable standard. It's a small step, but it's part of a much bigger shift that brands like Dove have been pushing for years, and it was a privilege to add to that work.
